Over the years, OFJ has engaged in events that brought awareness to the issues plaguing exoffenders.

PAST EVENTS:
Advocacy Workshop: Staff, members and supporters come together to prepare for the legislative session.
Walkathon: Designed to bring awareness to the issues surrounding ex-offenders and homelessness
B-more Fair: In order to bring awareness to the various barriers to successful reentry, OFJ joined with several community organizations, by setting up a information table at the B-More Fair in Carroll Park.
Housing Workshop: OFJ supporters and members come together in a collaborative effort to strategize on changing housing policies as they pertain to exoffenders.
Housing Conference: If change is to occur, we have found that it will have to begin at the Federal level. OFJ joined with HUD, Congress and supporters of fair housing, to collaborate on steps to take to achieve socially just housing policies.
Our very first workshop: we engaged in communication to discuss the issues and began strategizing on how to overcome them, with instruction on the legislative processes
